Cleaning and Labeling Sample Tubes

Sample tubes must be clean and dry before samples are added and weighed. The following
procedures are recommended. Refer to following table for a list of materials needed to clean
and weigh samples.

Materials Required to Clean and Weigh Sample Tubes

1. Turn on the drying oven used for heating the sample tubes and set the temperature to

110 ºC.

2. Check the reservoir of the ultrasonic cleaning unit to make sure it is clean.
