Feb 09 Gemini VII 2390 Confirm Installation Instructions and Checklist

Measuring Saturation Pressure

The Saturation pressure value is used in the calculations performed on data results. When you
have the application measure saturation pressure, the value is stored and will be used in the
reference analysis.

1. Make sure the blank tubes you installed in the previous procedure are still in place.

2. Remove the Dewar and discard the water.

3. Fill the Dewar with the analysis bath liquid to about 2 cm (3/4 in.) from the top for the

small Dewar and 5 cm (2 in.) for the large Dewar.

Place the analysis Dewar onto the elevator.

Close the sample compartment door.

Allow approximately 30 minutes for the temperature of the Dewar to stabilize with that of
the bath liquid.
