Controls in detail

Driving systems

왘

Depress the brake pedal immediately.

왘

Move the selector lever to

P

to prevent

the vehicle from rolling away.

SBC Stop is deactivated and the horn
sound ceases.

If there is a fault in the system or power
supply while SBC Stop is activated, the

Brake immediately

warning appears in the

multi-function display. Depress the brake
firmly immediately until the warning mes-
sage disappears from the multi-function
display, or move the selector lever to

P

.

This deactivates SBC Stop.

SBC Hold

SBC Hold helps reduce the strain on the
driver:

앫

when pulling away, especially on in-
clines

앫

when manoeuvring in mountainous ter-
rain

앫

when waiting in traffic

The vehicle is kept stationary without the
driver having to depress the brake pedal.

The braking effect is removed when the ac-
celerator pedal is depressed: SBC Hold is
deactivated as the vehicle pulls away.

Activating SBC Hold

You can activate SBC Hold if:

the vehicle is stationary

앫

the selector lever is in position

or

Depress the brake pedal when the vehi-
cle is stationary.

Quickly depress the brake pedal to the
stop until the

SBC H

message appears

in the left-hand multi-function display.

Release the brake pedal.

SBC Hold is activated.

If the ignition has been switched off, the en-

gine cannot be started again until SBC Stop has
been deactivated.
