Check for gas leaks 

 
Once the transfer line, trap, split tube and Air Server-xr link tube have been installed, the carrier gas can 
be switched on (0-60psi depending on the GC column installed). Check for any leaks using available total 
flow readouts or/and by checking all connections with a helium detector. 
 
Switch on the dry purge gas supply (recommended line pressure is 50-60psi). Check for any leaks by 
switching off the supply at the U-GAS01 or step down regulator and checking that the pressure gauge 
does not drop quickly.
