This fault indicates a failure of the FMPLL feature on the processor
Troubleshooting Steps
1.
With Ignition switch in OFF position, remove ECU power by pulling the ECU circuit breaker. Wait 10s
before resetting. Is fault active? If no, go to step 2. If yes, replace the ECU.
2.
Clear Service faults using the FST by following the steps outlined in the “Access the Field Service
Tool” section in Appendix C or the latest revision of
SSP-118.
3.
If fault repeats, replace the ECU.

External Watchdog Reset indicates the reset pin on the microcontroller was asserted
Troubleshooting Steps
1.
With Ignition switch in OFF position, remove ECU power by pulling the ECU circuit breaker. Wait 10s
before resetting. Is fault active? If no, go to step 2. If yes, replace the ECU.
2.
Clear Service faults using the FST by following the steps outlined in the “Access the Field Service
Tool” section in Appendix C or the latest revision of
SSP-118.
3.
If fault repeats, replace the ECU.
