Refer to the latest revision of Service Instruction SI-1059 and apply the specified lubricant
to the crankshaft thrust bearing surfaces of each crankcase half (Figure 84).

Install the camshaft in the left crankcase half.

Tie a loop of soft wire around the camshaft and left crankcase half (as shown in Figure 87)
to hold the camshaft securely in place.
