Configuration window (see Figure 3-8), select the

The Channelized OC-3 SM STS1 Port Configuration window is displayed
(see Figure 3-17). Table 3-6 describes the commands on the window.
Table 3-7 describes the fields on the window.

J1 Trace Configuration

com-

mand.

The Higher Order Path Trace - J1 Byte Configuration window is dis-
played (see Figure 3-18). Table 3-17 describes the commands on this
window. Table 3-18 describes the configurable fields on this window.

Specifies whether and what kind of loopback configuration
is used on the signal on this connection.

NoLoop

Indicates that no loopback is to be done on the signal.

LocalLoop

Indicates that the received signal at this interface enters
through the backplane, is looped through the device, and
exits through the backplane.

LineLoop

Indicates that received signal at this interface does not pass
through the device but is looped back out through the exter-
nal port.

Transmit Clock

Default:

Range: N/A

Format: Predefined

Indicates what type of synchronization is used by the inter-
face to maintain proper data flow through the PSAX system
and the remote devices connected to the system.

LocalTiming

Selects a synchronization source (CompositeClock, T1BITS,
E1ETSI, CompositeClockDS0A, Freerun, or LineTiming) that
is provided through the Stratum 3–4 module. For GR-303
configuration, select this default.

LoopTiming

This value is currently not supported.
