Configuring a Virtual Port with One Channel, Part 3 (Accessing the Channelized OC-3 Virtual DS1 Port Configuration Window)

From the Channelized OC-3 STS1 Port Configuration window (see
Figure 3-10), select an unconfigured Virtual DS1 Port in the right panel.
The Channelized OC-3 Virtual DS1 Port Configuration window is dis-
played (see Figure 3-11). Table 3-8 describes the commands on this win-
dow. Table 3-9 describes the fields on the window.

Reset Display

Resets the fields to the last set of saved values.

Bring All Interfaces Into
Service

Brings the out-of-service, configured virtual DS1 interfaces for the
port to in-service status.

Take All Interfaces Out Of
Service

Takes the in-service configured virtual DS1 interfaces for the port to
out-of-service status. You must use this command first before using
the

Delete All Interfaces

command.

J1 Trace Configuration

Displays the Higher Order Trace - J1 Byte Configuration window.

Delete All Interfaces

Deletes the configured virtual DS1 interfaces for the port. You must
take all interfaces out of service (using the

Take All Interfaces

Out Of Service

command) before you can use this command to

delete all the configured interfaces.

View Port Statistics

Displays the Channelized OC-3 or STM-1 Port Statistics window.

Go Back to Port Configura-
tion

Redisplays the 1-Port Channelized OC-3 or STM-1 Port Configura-
tion window.
