Loopback Option

To aid network troubleshooting and testing, loopback capability is provided
for the 1-Port Channelized OC-3/STM-1 CES modules. The loopback option
on the module’s port and channel configuration window for the module
enables you to verify the integrity of a port by transmitting a received signal
back to the source. Selecting a loopback option is described in the module
configuration procedures.

Figure 3-4 illustrates the line loop and local loop options.
