Operation When Fiery Controller is Installed

Adding/Deleting Paper Brands to/from Paper Catalog

The steps for adding or deleting paper brands to/from Paper Catalog when Fiery Controller is installed on the machine
are as follows.

1

Register a Paper Entry using Fiery Controller, and set the paper

parameters.

For details, refer to the Fiery Controller manual.

Set the machine adjustment parameters from the machine's

Operation Panel.

Select the paper brand you registered in step 1.

Editing Paper Characteristic Parameters

Paper characteristic parameters can only be edited using Fiery Controller. For details, refer to the Fiery Controller
manual.

NOTE

Adjustment of the machine itself is effective for the paper brand newly added from Fiery
Controller. To adjust the machine itself, refer to the following sections.
