About the Calibration Screens

KVAL Commander III Operation Manual

Axis Calibration Direction

Use the Left Hand Rule to determine the direction of axis calibration entries.Point at the Back
Section from the rear of the machine at the cut of the door.

Plate Router Calibration (Back Section)

These adjustments move router of the back section in the X, Y, and Z direction. The radius of the
router cut also may be adjusted.

X Axis Positive

movement

Z Axis Positive

movement

Y Axis Positive

movement

Run a known good lock plate at a standard
location on a Right Hand or Left Hand
door. Once the lock bore is completed,
check the distance from the top of the door
to the center of the bore hole. Note the
measurement value.

Run Calibration until specification is met.
