5.13 Flow
Stratos Multi can calculate flow for limit messages or to monitor an ion exchanger. A pulse generator is
connected to control input OK1 for this purpose.
Parameter Setting
Control input OK1 must first be assigned the “Flow” function.

Enter the number of pulses per liter.

If required, enable monitoring of the minimum and maximum flow.
The flow measurement can process up to 100 pulses per second at the signal input of control input
OK1.

The flow messages can activate a relay contact and/or trigger a 22-mA message via a current output
(user-defined).
5.14 HART Communication (TAN Option FW-E050)
Note:
In order to use the TAN option FW-E050 HART with Stratos Multi, current output I1 must be set
to 4 … 20 mA. HART communication is not possible below 4 mA.
