2 Measuring and configuration

2.1 Control unit service program

▶ Connect the service notebook to the KEY Laser.

▶ Start the Hyper Terminal communications software.

▶ Choose OK to confirm the Software download command.

Note

The abort key prematurely returns you to the main menu in service mode.

The following request is displayed: Please start the send function of your terminal

program (Hyper Terminal).

▶ Select the Send command in the communications program ①.

▶ Select the files for the required software version from the service notebook di‐

rectory ②.

Note

Use the command *.* to send all of the files in the folder.

Note

Do not send any files that are not a part of the KEY Laser Software Update from

the service notebook to the KEY Laser.

Files of a software update:
