Technician's instructions KEY Laser III 1243
2 Measuring and configuration

2.1 Control unit service program

The laser power supply, cooling system, compressor and flashlamp switch on au‐

tomatically.

▶ Choose OK to confirm the Defection mirror adjustment command.

The laser pulse generator is on standby together with the drive for 60 mJ/1 Hz.

▶ Use the key "ON/OFF Laser" to start and stop the laser pulse generator

▶ Choose EXIT to return to the Commissioning adjustments menu.

Laser hose coupling adjustment

This function is used to adjust the laser hose (fibre) coupling

Note

Follow all assembly instructions.

Note

The laser power supply unit, the cooling system, the compressor and the flash lamp

switch on automatically.

▶ Choose OK to confirm the Laser hose coupling adjustment command.

The laser pulse generator is on standby together with the drive for 250 mJ/15

Hz.

▶ Use the key "ON/OFF Laser" to start and stop the laser pulse generator

▶ Choose EXIT to return to the Commissioning adjustments menu

Power measuring unit adj. (VEM)

This function is used to adjust the energy power measuring unit

Note

Follow all assembly instructions.

Note

The laser power supply unit, the cooling system, the compressor and the flash lamp

switch on automatically.

▶ Choose OK to confirm the Power measuring unit adj. VEM command.

▶ Please check/adjust the following: Please check the following measuring steps

or adjust.

MP = measuring point

P = Potentiometer

The EXIT key returns you to the selection window Commissioning adjustments.

▶ Once you have completed these checks and/or adjusted to the correct voltage,

choose OK.

▶ Screen 2 appears.

Enter the required values and choose NEXT STEP to confirm.

▶ The NEXT STEP button becomes active as soon as the laser pulses have been

activated and deactivated once with the ON/OFF Laser button.
