6.3 Checks prior to commissioning
The following points must be checked before commissioning the
device:
• Correct wiring in accordance with Electrical connections
on page 26.
• Correct grounding of the sensor.
• The ambient conditions must meet the requirements set
out in the specification.
• The power supply must meet the requirements set out on
the name plate.
Remote mount design – check sensor and
transmitter for correct assignment

The correct assignment between sensors and transmitters has to
be ensured for devices featuring a remote mount design. Devices
that form a pair have the same numeric suffix and this is indicated
on the rating plate; e. g., the X001 sensor is paired with the Y001
transmitter, and the X002 sensor is paired with the Y002
transmitter.

SensorMemory

The SensorMemory is a removable memory module located at
the rear of the transmitter electronics module.
The part number and the numeric suffix are indicated on the
SensorMemory module.
The numeric suffix is also indicated on the rating plate of the
corresponding sensor.
The numeric suffix for the SensorMemory module has to be
consistent with the numeric suffix for the sensor.
6.4 Parameterization of the device
Commissioning and operation of the JUMO flowTRANS MAG
S10/H10 can be carried out via the integrated LCD display
(optional; see
Parameterization via the menu function Easy
Setup on page 38).

Note
For devices without an LCD display, an accessory LCD display is
available that can be connected (part number: 00706388) to
make the parameter settings.
