Cups can also be dispensed manually. To do this, press the button on the plate
surrounding the dispenser.
6.10.- Sugar and stir-stick dispensing assembly.
Once a cup has been dispensed, it falls through a collector to the product filling
position. before water is taken from the boiler, the sugar and spoon have to be put in the
cup.
The sugar and the spoons are stored un an assembly located inside the door, on
shafts. This system allows for the complete assembly to turn, to make it easier to load
sugar. The assembly also features an anchoring system to ensure the dispenser’s
position with respect to the cup is maintained. The sugar container is identical to the
soluble containers (short worm) but instead of having an elbow at the exit it is equipped
with a rotating door which opens to release the sugar dose and then closes to prevent
the steam of the mixture from clogging the sugar. The door is moved by a 12 V, 50 Ohm
coil (figure 6.09). The sugar dosage motor rotates at
45 r.p.m.
The spoons are also stored in the same assembly as the sugar. They are laid our along
a slide with a capacity for approximately 500 spoons. They are dispensed by a flap that
pulls the spoon leaning against the dispenser at the bottom of the slide. The flap is
driven by a 12 V geared motor. The spoon slides through a collector to the cup.
The stir-sticks should be between 75 mm and 91 mm long and between 1.25 mm
and 1.75 mm thick. The length of the spoon is adjusted to the channel with the spoon
length adjuster that has four positions corresponding to the spoon length classification.
