Use appropriate quantities of products, depending on the doses of the various
products (see dose table) and expected consumption between the times when the
machine is reloaded. This aims to prevent excessive ageing of products. Make sure you
do not pack in the products when loading them to prevent compaction and lumps.
Container capacity
The machine has 5 containers, including the sugar container, located on the door.
The approximate capacities of the containers are as follows:
-
Sugar ........................................................... 5 000 g
-
Milk .............................................................. 2 250 g
-
Chocolate .................................................... 3 500 g
-
Coffee beans ............................................... 3 000 g
-
Decaffeinated coffee .................................... 1 500 g
-
Tea ................................................................. 3500 g
6. - Basic machine operation concepts.
Following is a general review of the machine components and their function.
6.1. - Safety systems.
To ensure proper operation and comply with safety regulations, the machine
features the following safety systems:
•
Door open safety switch. When you open the door of the machine the power
supply of the electrical and electronic circuits is cut off.
•
Photocell control system for water level in the air-break.
•
Safety microswitch in air-break. In case of failure in the air-break photocell control
system, the water intake is shut off before the water reaches the runoff level.
•
Waste bin full microswitch. Puts the machine out of service when the waste bin
reaches the level that triggers this microswitch.
•
Bimetal, bipolar thermostat in the pressure boiler. It is triggered in case of failure in
the temperature sensor to prevent the pressure boiler from overheating. This
thermostat is set at
120 °C
and can be reset manually. This is done by opening the
espresso assembly door and pressing on the red button.
•
Rotating arm position microswitch.
•
Control system using photocells to indicate that the machine has cups available.
Puts the machine out of service when there are no cups.
