This machine is equipped to deliver cups of different sizes. These are classified in
terms of their diameter measured just under the top ring. The cups are classified into:
•
Cups with a diameter under top ring between 65 and 67 mm
•
Cups with a diameter under top ring between 67 and 69 mm
Diameter
Minimum heigth = 2 mm
You need to take into account that, depending on the type of cup chosen in terms of
the above classification, the cup dispenser cogwheels (no 6 on fig. 6.09.3) the cup
collector supplement (no 24) and the cup slide (no 13) will need to be different.
In addition, within each classification it is possible to adapt the dispenser cogwheels
to cup diameter in 0.5 mm intervals. There is a cogwheel displacement system that
allows you to bring them closer or further away from the cup centre. To choose the most
appropriate system for cup delivery, follow these steps:
1. Once you have decided the cup you wish to use, measure the diameter at
the base of the support ring (figure 6.09.1) and check which category the
cup belongs to (65-67 mm diameter or 67-69 mm diameter). As
mentioned above, you need to take into account that the dispenser
cogwheels, the cup collector supplement and the cup slide will be
different in each case.
Once you have defined the cup in terms of its classification, choose the most
appropriate cogwheel position. To do this, the cup dispenser assembly has 5
intermediate positions for the 2 mm distance between the largest and smallest diameter
at 0.5 mm intervals. Cogwheel
position 1
corresponds to the smallest diameter, while
position 5
is for the largest diameter. The other positions are obtained by adding
0.5 mm intervals. Choose the position immediately above the closest to cup diameter
(see fig. 6.09.2)
