Using connectors

Clamp the shield,
in its entire perimeter
, under the shielding clamp of the
metallized connector housing (low-impedance shielding), respectively of the
EMC gland bushing. Then clamp it
with the greatest possible surface area
under a strain relief.

Only use metallized connectors, e.g. Sub-D with metallized housing. Make
sure that the strain relief is directly connected with the housing here as well.
