If the measurement is not within speci

cations,

loosen the two retaining lock nuts that are located

on each end of the tie rod.

Turn the left and right tie rods equal amounts until

the measurements are within speci

cations.

Tighten the lock nuts and then recheck

measurements.

Make sure that when the wheels are straight, the

steering wheel is in the center position.
