Installation

THE CONTROLLER UNIT DEUTSCH CONNECTORS ARE KEYED TO PREVENT INTER-

CHANGE OR REVERSE DIRECTION INSERTION. DO NOT FORCE A CONNECTOR WITH-

OUT FIRST VERIFYING THE CONNECTORS ORIENTATION AND PLACEMENT.

NOTE

SAM Control Center orientation is connectors toward the bottom of the panel.

See Figure 35.

Align new SAM Pump Controller with opening in panel and support SAM Pump

Controller until secured by first bracket.

Place one bracket over rear of SAM Pump Controller.

Align new SAM Pump Controller and bracket screw holes.

Hand start two [2] 8-32 x 1/2-in long button head hex screws (each with a lock

washer).

Align second bracket to rear of SAM Pump Controller.

Hand start remaining two [2] screws (each with a lock washer).

Using #5/64-in hex socket and ratchet (set CW) (or Allen key), tighten four [4]

screws.

Connect electrical connectors according to tags (including all plugs).

Install cable ties cut to R&R SAM Pump Controller as noted.

Perform SAM Pump Controller Setup (see paragraph 4.12.4, page 135) to set

SAM Pump Controller stored parameters.
