Troubleshooting
MorphoWave
TM
OEM does not boot at the first installation
Several reasons may lead to such issue (wiring, pairing issue), please follow the
procedure below until system is working.
1.
Turn off the entire system and check wiring.
i.
MorphoWave
TM
desktop is connected in USB 3.0 to the PC.
ii.
Ethernet cable between MorphoAccess Sigma Wave and PC are properly
plugged on the Ethernet switch on corresponding ports (“PC Wave” for
PC and “MAsigma” for MorphoAccess Sigma Wave).
iii.
Ethernet switch is connected on its power supply adaptor.
2.
Unconnect the RJ45 cable on the port “External” of the Ethernet switch to isolate
the MorphoWave from the external network.
3.
Turn on the entire system and follow the “First biometric record and
identification” chapter.
If at this point of time the system enrolment is not working and following screen is
displayed continuously:

Wait up to 6 minutes prior to follow the unpairing procedure (refer to
maintenance section).
5.
If the system does not recover by itself, please check settings dates of the
MorphoAccess Sigma Wave and the PC. The dates have to be newer than April
1
st
2015 on both devices. It is no required to have same date and hour on both
devices.
6.
When dates are set on MorphoAccess Sigma Wave and PC, please restart the
system. The system will work at the end of the boot. Depending on the database
size, the boot may take several minutes.
The database loading time is increasing over the time
Make sure debug logs are OFF on MorphoAccess Sigma Wave device (please refer to
maintenance section at the debug log activation procedure).
