Repair action code meanings for diagnostic error messages

Table 40 lists the action codes and recommended action for each action code.

Note: System board replacement disrupts all switch traffic.

Further diagnostic action is required. Failure can be the system board, GBIC, or
cable. This is typically the result of running a wrap test. The tests should be run
again after swapping cables, GBICs, and other components to determine the
cause. It is unlikely that the system board is at fault, as most system board
failures cause a POST failure. To help determine if the failure is a GBIC or a
cable, see “Chapter 3. Installing the switch” on page 19.
