a
Normally water; other fluids only when they are non-flammable in the event of a single
Failure.
b
The thermal fluid must have a flame point
≥
65 °C, this means that ethanol can only
be used under constant supervision.
c
The over-temperature protection can for example be provided by a fluid sensor or
a suitable over temperature switch.
d
Determined by the manufacturer.
Your temperature control unit is designated a Class III FL.
ELO: Electronic Over-temperature Switch
This temperature control unit is equipped with an electronic over-temperature switch.
Temperature sensors are built in for the fluid outlet temperature and the temperature in
the expansion vessel. There is a simple method of entering the triggering temperature
for each sensor.
A mechanical tool is no longer required to change the over-temperature settings. The
over-temperature switch can only be adjusted after the user has re-entered a code
displayed on the Unistat Pilot´s display. This procedure avoids unintentional changes
being made to the setting and replaces a mechanical tool by software.
