Cooling water connection II
(valid for unistat cc401wHT)
The unistat cc401w HT uses a cooling water connection where the cooling water
quantity is controlled by the machine. This machine can not only produce positive
temperature gradients (e.g. from 20°C to 150°C), but also negative temperature
gradients (e.g. from 150°C to 20°C). The CC401w HT possesses a controlled cooling
power, and controls the cooling water outlet temperature to a value where usually build
up of lime scale cannot take place (max 60°C). An activation of the cooling water
release (like under cooling water connection I) is not required.
We recommend water inlet temperatures of 12°C to 25°C and a water pressure of 2 to
4 bar. Please only use suitable
temperature stable
hoses (e.g. reinforced hoses with
screw connections). Connect the cooling water according to the data sheet / drawing.
Connecting an externally closed application
Connect via appropriate hoses the unit´s circulation flow (1) with the lower positioned
connection of your application and the unit´s circulation return (2) with the higher
positioned connection of the application. Only so it can be assured that the system is
being air-purged correctly when filling.
