After the countdown ends, use a multimeter to check the electromagnetic valve driver voltage
generated by the fire alarm control panel.

The fire alarm control panel should generate a voltage of 24–27.5 V to activate the electromagnetic
valve, and the gas release indicator should turn on at the same time.

Commission the pressure announciator.

Press

RESET

on the fire alarm control panel to reset the fire alarm control panel.

Set the fire alarm control panel to the AUTO state.

Disconnect the red and black cables from the pressure announciator, as shown by (1) in

Figure 7-8

Short-circuit the cables from the fire alarm control panel to the pressure announciator, as
shown by (2) in

Figure 7-8

The gas release indicator turns on at the same time.
