4. gENERAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FOLLOw THE FOLLOwINg AdVICE wHEN CONNECTINg ANd
INSTALLINg THE dEVICE:
Before starting installation or before working on the device, the device must
be disconnected from the power supply (230 V/50 Hz) and secured against
switching it on.
– Check that the device is free of all charges before starting to assemble or
work on it.
– Use only parts that are included with the product or are definitely described
as accessories!
– When controlling a load that can cause a hazard to people in the event of a
fault, additional safety measures are required.
– Carefully plan the wiring when connecting to other devices (eg PC). Under cer-
tain circumstances, internal connections to third-party devices (eg connection
GND with protective earth) can lead to unwanted voltage potentials.
