Editing a Failover Package
Note:
Applies to high-availability NAS solutions only.
Before you proceed, you must stop the failover package to edit the information.
To edit a failover package:
1. In Command View NAS, click the Storage tab.
2. Navigate to Failover Packages.
3. Select Actions > Edit Selected Package.
4. Select a Failback Policy from the drop-down list.
5. Check Auto Start if you want the failover package to automatically start once
the server is running in the cluster.
6. Check Reboot Node on Failure if you want the server to automatically reboot
if a failure occurs.
7. Select a Primary Node from the drop-down list.
8. From the Available Volume Groups list, select the volume group you want to
include in the failover package, then click Select.
9. Enter a Virtual IP Address (an IP address used to access the storage
associated with the failover package) and enter the Subnet. Click Add.
10. Click OK. To activate the failover package, you must start it. See
Starting a
Failover Package
on page 112 for information.
