You can click on a column heading to sort items in that column. The Actions
button in the upper left corner lets you add, edit, delete, start, or stop a failover
package as well as manually fail over or fail back a package. You can also refresh
the information in the table by clicking Actions > Refresh.
Auto Start Enabled or disabled. If Auto Start is enabled, the
failover package automatically starts on the primary
node when the cluster starts.
Reboot on Failure Enabled or disabled. If Reboot on Failure is enabled
and a failure occurs, the server automatically reboots.
Primary Node Hostname of the NAS server that is designated as the
owner of the failover package. Under normal
circumstances, the primary node (server) should start the
failover package by default. This name is selected from
the list of cluster members or nodes specified in the
cluster configuration.
Active Node The node on which the package is currently running,
regardless of where the package was configured or
where it should be running.
Volume Groups A list of one or more volume groups to which the failover
package provides access.
Virtual IP Addresses A list of one or more IP addresses that will be used to
access the storage specified in the failover package. If
more than one virtual IP address is given, then each IP
must be on a different subnet. The virtual IP address will
become the “well known” address for accessing the
storage in the failover package.
Use only the DNS name when accessing shares and
mapping drives. Do not use any other browsing tools to
find shares. For more information, see Assigning DNS
Entries for HA Package Names on page 69.
