S
Softkey in the marker math menu. Measures a user-defined segment of
a measurement trace and calculates the frequency span, mean, and
standard deviation of the amplitude response, and the peak-to-peak
ripple.
See
“To Use Marker Math Functions” on page 4-18
information.
Access Keys:
Softkey in the IBASIC menu. When a program is ready to run, this
softkey allows you to step through the program one line at a time. A
good de-bugging tool.
See the HP Instrument BASIC User's Handbook Supplement for more
information.
Access Keys:
Softkey in the
menu. Toggle to ON to allow the analyzer to
sweep in steps. When toggled OFF, the analyzer sweeps continuously.
A stepped sweep allows greater measurement accuracy and eliminates
frequency shift problems when measuring devices with long electrical
delay. The disadvantage of a stepped sweep is the slower sweep speed.
Softkey in the
menu. Sets the stop frequency of the source.
Maximum frequency is 1.3 GHz for the HP 8712ES and 3.0 GHz for the
HP 8714ES.
Softkey in the
menu. Sets stopping point (in dBm) for a
power sweep measurement.
in
menu must
be selected before setting the start and stop power points.
See the
entry in this chapter for more information on
the power sweep function.
Softkey in the update correction constants menu. Writes a copy of CC
data from internal volatile RAM to a 3.5” disk in the analyzer's built-in
disk drive. This function is used to make a backup copy of CC data.
See the Service Guide for more information.
