Clean the filters in the coupling heads whenever required, but at least once
every year.
Ø To ensure the function of the valves, anti-freeze should be added to the com-
pressed air. Follow the operating instructions of the tractor!

The coupling heads should be closed with blind covers or a plastic bag to pro-
tect against damage caused by moisture.
Mechanical release fixture
The parking brake may need to be released without the required pressure being
available in the air vessel. To this end, the spring accumulators can be released using
the mechanical auxiliary release device.

1. Place wheel chocks under the wheels.
2. Remove the threaded rod from the parking position (2) and fasten it in the cyl-
inder (1).
3. Apply washer and nut and release the brake by unscrewing the threaded rod.
4. After the required measures (towing, retrieving, etc.) have been completed,
screw in the threaded rod to engage the brake again.
5. Pull the threaded rod with nut and washer from the brake cylinder and fasten
it in the parking position.
Brake valve unit
The braking force of the machine on the brake valve unit has been preset depending
on the machine's equipment.

Change the pressure settings only if the weight of the machine has changed (e.g. by
attaching a heavy packer).
