6. Transport travels
6.1 Safety notes
Strictly comply with the chapter "Safety
notes for the operator" for transport travels
Before transport travels check
¾
the proper connection of supply lines,
¾
the lighting system for damage, function and
cleanliness,
¾
the brake and hydraulic system for apparent
faults,
¾
whether the parking brake is properly re-
leased,
¾
the function of the brake system,
¾
the complete machine for picked up soil - if
necessary clean the machine.
WARNING
Danger of crushing, shearing, cutting,
cutting off, being caught, wound up,
pulled in and impact by accidental
movements of the machine.
¾
On foldable machines check the correct lock-
ing of the transport locks.
¾
Secure the machine against accidental move-
ments before starting transport travels.
WARNING
Danger of crushing, cutting, being
caught, being pulled in and impact due
to insufficient stability and tipping over.
¾
Match your travel behaviour to prevailing
conditions, so that you are able to manage
the tractor with the connected machine at
any time.
Be aware of your own abilities, account for the
road, traffic, sight and weather conditions, the
driving characteristics of the tractor and the in-
fluences of the mounted or hitched up machine.
WARNING
Danger of breakage during operation,
insufficient stability and inadequate
steering and braking ability of the trac-
tor if used for purposes other than the
ones it is intended for!

These endangerments causes severe or even
fatal injuries.
¾
Observe the maximum load of the mounted /
hitched up machine and the permissible axle
and drawbar loads of the tractor.
¾
Observe the permissible total weight of the
machine and the permissible axle and draw-
bar load.
¾
If necessary drive with the hopper only partly
filled.
WARNING
Danger of falling off the machine when
riding on it without permission!
It is not allowed to ride on the machine as a pas-
senger and/or to climb on machines in operation.
Before setting off instruct persons to stay clear
of the loading place.
CAUTION
Transport travels with Trail-Control
switched on are prohibited.
Transport travels with tractor control
unit fixed in place are prohibited

Generally set the tractor control unit on the
tractor to neutral for transport travels.
¾
Check the transport lock for locking the folded
in sprayer boom in transport position to protect
against unintended unfolding.
¾
Check the transport lock for securing the swiv-
elled up induction hopper in transport position
against accidental swinging down.
¾
Check the transport lock for locking the raised
access ladder against unintended sliding down.
