4.1 Controls
Before operating the machine ensure that you have
properly understood the operation and function of all
the controls, as set out in this chapter
.
Mount/demount tool position
The push button on the handle (
3
, Fig.4.0-1) allows the
user to position the tool correctly.
1.
To unlock and let the slide with the tool go up: push the
button all the way in with the forefinger in the direction
of the arrow (
A, Fig.
4.1-1
).
2.
To unlock and let the slide with the tool go down: push
the button with the thumb in the direction of the arrow,
until resistance increases (
B, Fig. 4.1-1
).
3.
To lock: push the button firmly with the thumb (
C, Fig.
4.1-1
).

Wheel lifter
Insert the RIGHT foot under the pedal (
1, Fig.4.1-3
)
and lift it upwards; the lifter will rise. On reaching the
desired height release the pedal; the lifter stops.
Press the pedal downwards; the lifter will descend. To
stop the lifter release the pedal. To lower the lifter
completely, keep the pedal pressed until it touches the
ground.
The lifter cannot be used for uses other than lifting/
lowering wheels (or rims) from the Wheel Holder Table.
The lifter has a maximum capacity of 70Kg.
DO NOT MOUNT/DEMOUNT THE TIRE WITH THE
LIFTER IN THE RAISED POSITION.
