If you intend to install the SVP software using a language other than English and
Japanese, change the SVP's locale setting to reflect the appropriate language using the
procedure for the Windows version installed on the SVP. For more information, see the
instructions for your Windows operating system.
Configuring the operating system
The SVP runs on a customer-supplied version of Windows 7 Professional (64-bit),
Windows Server 2012 (64-bit), Windows Server 2012 R2 (64-bit), Windows Server 2016
(64-bit), Windows 10 Professional (64-bit), or Windows 10 Enterprise (64-bit) .
The following procedures describe how to configure the Windows 7 Professional (64-bit)
operating system on the customer-supplied server. These procedures assume that the
operating system has already been installed on the server.
Logging on to the operating system
The log on procedure is performed using the Windows operating system installed on the
SVP.
Using the Remote Desktop Connection, log on as the user who was specified during the
Windows installation (for example,
Administrator
).
