4.9.2.1.4.Zero Calibration 

This  is  the  value  of  the  internal  resistance  presented  by  the  6530  between  the 
input connector and ground.  The 6530 maintains a stored value for this resistance 
in  its  memory  and  subtracts  it  from  all  resistance  measurements  before  the  final 
value  of  the  unknown  resistance  is  put  on  the  front  panel  display  or  made 
available  at  either  control  bus.  If  the  ZERO  CAL  resistance  should  change  or  if 
the stored value should become corrupted in the memory, the 6530 is capable of 
re-measuring the true value and entering the true value into memory.
