2. Click the “Next” button on the Wizard window to enter the Login window.
3. Enter the admin password. By default, the password is 1234.
4. To change the admin password, check the “New Admin Password” checkbox. Enter the new password and
confirm the password in the given fields.
STRONG PASSWORD RECOMMENDED: We highly recommend you create a strong password of your own choosing
(using a minimum of 8 characters, including at least three of the following categories: upper case letters, lower
case letters, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product. And we
recommend you reset your password regularly. Especially in a high security system, resetting the password
monthly or weekly can protect your product better.
5. Additionally you have the option to use a pattern to unlock the NVR. Check the “Enable Unlock Pattern” field
and set a pattern that can be used instead of the password.
- Use the mouse to draw a pattern among the 9 dots on the screen. Release the mouse when done.
- Connect at least 4 dots.
- Each dot can only be used once.
- You need to confirm the pattern by drawing it twice.
6. Click the “Next” button to enter the date and time settings window.
