Recording live video (R1-live mode)

The procedure to record live video from an external device is described in

this part.

Set the connection information of the external device used for recording or
the video format for capturing beforehand.

General – Hardware settings

R1 settings

Transfer – common settings

If necessary, make settings in the setting screen according to the environment

in use.

You can also set to automatically start recording operation at a specified
time and end it at a specified time. (Only available in the workstation mode.)

R1-live mode / schedule mode

TIP

•

The name of the clip to be recorded can be specified. You can
set the naming rule and specify the name of the clip to be

recorded in the next.

R1 channel – 1ch view

Setting of ingesting dialog box

You can also record video from a device that cannot allow deck
control in the same procedure. Find the start point of the video
for recording beforehand.

Press the [R1] button.

R1 channel is displayed in 1ch view.

The video from the external input

device is displayed in the preview.

R1 channel – 1ch view

Tap [Live].

The mode switches to the R1-live mode.

Tap [Saving destination], select the saving destination of the clip

to record, and then tap [OK].

If necessary, play the video from the external device and press

the [Rec] button on T2.

The recording starts.

You can set the clip name by tapping the entry area of [Clip:] while recording.
