Hood Filter Door (2)
Provides access the pre-filter, E.A.C. and charcoal filters. Both
Doors must be closed and latched before the hood will operate.

Baffle Filter (2)
The first stage of ventless air cleaning system. Stainless steel filters
capture larger grease particulate. Easy to remove for daily cleaning.
Baffle filters should be cleaned daily

Pre-Filter (2)
Single-use, disposable filters remove moisture and some additional
grease-laden vapor from the air stream. Helps to keep the E.A.C.
cells performing effectively.
NEVER attempt to clean and re-use pre-
filters ... replace every 7-10 days with NEW
.

E.A.C. Filter Cells
(Left & Right)
E.A.C. Collector Cells are sustainable electrostatic devices that
remove fine particulate from grease-laden vapor and smoke
generated by the cooking appliances.
To maintain peak
performance, E.A.C. cells must be cleaned DAILy as described later
in this manual.

Charcoal Filter (2)
Single-use, disposable filters that help to control cooking aromas in
exhausted air. Filters must be replaced periodically.
NEVER attempt
to clean and re-use charcoal filters ... Typically, replace with NEW
filters every 30 to 45 days. Replacement cycle is dependent on
appliances in use, and type of foods cooking activities.

Self-Supporting Hood Stand
Self-supporting hood stand ... side & rear stand skirts contain
cooking vapors to facilitate hood capture performance. Maximizes
usable hood width.

Exhaust Outlet
Directs cleaned air back into the room.
A minimum clearance of
14” MUST be maintained between the top of the Exhaust Outlet
and the ceiling, or other obstruction
.
DO NOT attempt to direct exhaust into a different space by
attaching ductwork; this will cause poor performance.

Grease Drip Cup
Catches and collects grease condensate generated at the baffle
filters. This cup should be emptied and cleaned daily.

E.A.C. Drip Cup (2)
Catches and collects grease residue which may drip from E.A.C.
filter cells. Should be checked/emptied daily and cleaned as
needed.
