How to update ProfiLux 4 Wi-Fi module, Web Server,
and Web Interface

Updating the Wi-Fi module firmware on your ProfiLux 4 allows you to benefit from new web-
based features and Wi-Fi signal improvements. This section will show you how to update
network-based firmware such as Wi-Fi module, Web Server, and Web Interface on your
ProfiLux 4 controller.

NOTE

These kind of updates can be performed in different ways; web browser and

direct USB connection via updater tool. The steps that follow will show you

how to updating using the “Web browser“ method. This method will require

you to know the IP address of your P4.

IMPORTANT

Before proceeding with the update, please make sure that the ProfiLux 4 is

NOT connected over GCC wirelessly or via the GHL Control app. This means

that you should NOT have an active connection over GCC wirelessly or the

app while following the steps below. Make sure you are also NOT connected

over USB when following these steps.

To update your ProfiLux 4 Wi-Fi module firmware, please follow these steps:

1.

Open a web browser window; we recommend Chrome or Internet Explorer.

2.

Type-in the IP address of the P4 into the website address bar and press ENTER.



If you are asked to enter a USER NAME and PASSWORD, enter the following:

USER NAME: admin
