Sounds & Performances 4•13
BALANCE THE SECTION VOLUMES
Performances also memorise the track volumes,
therefore, you can modify the recalled settings in
real time as required.
This group of controls has silkscreened markings
above and below each slider.
When you are working with Styles or playing in
real time with the Performances, you can mix the
tracks be referring to the markings across the top:
Drums, Bass, Acc1,
Acc2, Acc3 regulate the ac-
companiment tracks of the Styles while sliders
marked Upper 1, Upper 2, Lower mix the key-
board Sounds.
When you are working with Song or Song/Styles,
use the markings across the bottom: F1 … F8.
These markings correspond to the 8 tracks (1…8)
of the Song/Styles, or 16 tracks of Songs (1…8
and 9…16 with Track Select). In normal condi-
tions, the display only shows tracks 6, 7 and 8.
In Edit Mixer, you can see the status of the track
volumes and modify them with the correspond-
ing sliders. Use Track Select to view the remain-
ing 8 tracks (9 … 16) and use the same sliders to
obtain the required overall mix.
