Page 6/7 - Computer port & Pedalboard functions
COMPUTER... (F1, F2)
Enables or disables the Computer port for MIDI
transmission via a serial cable. Depending on
the type of computer WK3 connects to, this pa-
rameter must be appropriately set. For IBM PC
and compatibles, set either PC1 or PC2 accord-
ing to the transmission velocity required. For a
Macintosh connection, select MAC. When this
parameter is set to OFF , the instrument’
s MIDI
Interface is operative. Any other setting for com-
puter use disables the MIDI ports for transmis-
sion and reception. It is not possible to use the
MIDI and COMPUTER ports simultaneously.
Rotate the DIAL to change the parameter status.
Assignable values: Off (MIDI Connection En-
able), PC1 (RS 232 Slow Serial Port), PC2 (RS
232 Fast Serial Port), MAC (RS 422 Serial Port)

PEDALBOARD FUNCTION (F3, F4)
Provides options for a Pedalboard connected to
the Pedalboard socket.
Off - Pedalboard deactivated.
Chord - disables chord recognition on the key-
board and passes over to the pedalboard. To
play minor and sevenths, play two bass notes at
the same time. Alternatively
, you can program
the Pedals 1 or 2 to select minor and seventh
chords.
Bass/S - allows you to play Bass with Sustain on
the Pedalboard.
Bass - deactivates the bass track of the auto-
accompaniments and transfers it to the
Pedalboard, allowing you to play the bass with
the pedalboard.
Multifunction - the pedalboard is transformed
into a multi-function device where each note ac-
tivated a function:
