TIME SIGNATURE
This option is not available for Song/Styles.
Entering Record mode for User Styles and Songs
sets the time signature to 4/4 by default. If you
want to record with a different Time Signature,
you must change this parameter before starting
to record events.
If you attempt to change this parameter when the
track contains events, of if you have started the
recording without playing any notes, the display
activates an appropriate warning.

Recorded events exist - cannot change
The display cancels automatically to return to the
Maser Track.
The Time Signature parameter is divided into two
parts.
1. Rotate the DIAL to set the first part of the Time
Signature.

part of the parameter.
F1 toggles between the first and second part
of the Time signature parameter.

NUMBER OF BARS
This option is note available for Song/Styles.
This parameter sets the number of bars (meas-
ures) for a User Style Riff or a Song.
For User Styles, The default setting is 2. You
can record up to 16 bars for a Style Riff.
For Songs, set a value to this parameter only to
specify a record stop bar. With a value of ØØ,
recording proceeds until you stop, or until you
have recorded 250 measures (bars).
Do not set this parameter unless you want to
record a specified number of bars for the Song.

NAME

scribed on page 15 under the section entitled “In-
serting Alphanumeric Data” of the Basic Concepts
chapter 3.

2. Press F3 again to gain access to the Name writ-
ing function.
