Select a Bank containing the desired Sound us-
ing the SOUND BANKS button.
WK3 Sounds reside in three Sound Banks
which are selected in cyclic order by press-
ing the SOUND BANKS button as many times
as is required to light the relative led indica-
tor.
After selecting Bank 3, pressing the but-
ton once again selects Bank 1.
Bank 1 sounds are General MIDI compatible,
while Banks 2 and 3 contain variations of
Bank 1. Banks 2 and 3 of the Percussive
Sound group contain Drumkits.

Select the desired Sound or Drumkit
Press the corresponding Function button to
select the required sound (or drumkit) and
assign it to the selected section (flashing).
The display returns to normal.
5.
Play on the keyboard.
If you have assigned a Drumkit to Upper 1 or
Upper 2, you’ll hear a different drum sound
for each note played. If other keyboard sec-
tions are active, mute them to hear the drum
sounds alone.
You can assign dif
ferent sounds to all three
keyboard sections, provided that you remem-
ber to
select the relative section before the
sound assignment.
