Maintenance: Checkout Procedures

Revision A

DASH 2000 Patient Monitor

2000 412-001

Speaker Tests

Set HR limits so, that HR exceeds the limits and alarm tone occurs.

Change the alarm volume of the monitor to 100%.

Verify the speaker volume of the monitor changes accordingly.

Return the volume of the monitor to the level it was previously set to,
before you changed it for this test.

LAN Network Check

Do the following to check the monitoring network:

Check if the ECG and parameter values are displayed correctly on a
Centraloscope or CIC.

Completion

This completes all tests associated with the checkout procedures.
Disconnect the monitor from all test equipment in the following manner:

Set all test equipment power switches to the off position.

Set the monitor front panel power switch to the off position.

Remove all test equipment from the monitor.
