PART Ⅱ OPERATION HOW TO OPERATE

3．HOW TO START MOVING

●

When moving backward, be careful of obstacles on your back and footing.
Travel at low speed.

●

When starting to move, check around the machine. Do not look aside during
operation.

●

Start moving slowly. Do not travel at unnecessarily high speed.

●

Do not move the machine on a slope. When moving it on a slope unwillingly,
be sure to observe the followings.

・ Do not set change lever at or through "N.Neutral". Do not operate side

clutch levers. The machine may slip down.

・ Set change lever at " ". Be careful not to fall down or slip. Travel

at the lowest speed.

●

Before setting travel clutch lever at "On", make sure change lever is at
"Neutral point".

●

When moving for transfer, be sure to set work clutch lever at "Off" and raise
auger housing so that it does not contact with the ground.

Set change lever at "N.Neutral".

Refer to "Start the engine" (p.30) and start
the engine.

●

When starting engine indoors,
open the windows for sufficient
ventilation. If the place is poorly
ventilated, poisoning may occur
due to exhaust gas, which is very
dangerous.

●

Set travel clutch lever at "Off"

and change lever at "N.Neutral"
before starting engine.

●

Check if covers are attached
correctly before starting the engine.

●

When starting the engine, give
a signal aloud to surrounding
people.

After warming up, adjust engine revolution by
throttle lever.

(4)

Pull auger housing control lever to raise auger
housing.

Hold travel clutch lever slowly and set it at "On".

Travel speed changes according to the angle of change lever.
