PART Ⅱ OPERATION BEFORE USING THE MACHINE
■AMOUNT AND DIRT OF ENGINE OIL
●
Check engine oil after engine has cooled down.
Otherwise, a burn may occur.
●
Carry out inspection before starting engine
or when 5 minutes or more have passed
after stopping engine.
●
Pull out oil gauge and wipe the tip.
Insert it and pull out again.
If the oil level is close to upper limit of the
gauge, the amount of oil is regular.
●
If there is insufficient amount of oil, put new
oil through filler port. Check engine oil
amount again when 5 minutes or more have
passed after replenishment.

Check the oil level every day
before starting engine. Keep
prescribed replacement time
strictly.Use of old oil has a bad
influence on the engine.
●
When replenishing or replacing
engine oil, be careful that water from snow and rain or dust does not enter.
●
Refer to "Engine manual" for details.
■FUEL
●
Before handling fuel, remove static electricity by touching metal such as the
machine. Never smoke or keep anything which may cause fire near the machine.
Otherwise, the fuel ignites and fire may occur.
●
Do not supply fuel or oil in excess of the prescribed amount. Wipe away any
spilled fuel or oil completely.
●
Make sure that there is enough fuel in fuel
tank.
●
Refuel early before fuel runs out.
●
When refueling, be careful not to spill it.
If spilt, wipe it out completely.
If the machine is used without wiping spilled
fuel, fire and damage to painted surface may
occur.
●
Be sure to use prescribed fuel.

Keep fuel tank full as much as
possible to prevent vapor from
accumulating in fuel tank.
●
Tighten fuel tank cap securely to
prevent water from entering.
●
At extremely low temperature, fuel hose line and fuel system may be
clogged or engine start may be difficult and unexpected problems may
occur. Be careful.
●
When refueling, be careful that water from snow and rain or dust does
not enter.
