3-18. [F12]:End Setting
[Details]
• Default camera destinations
The serial number is used as a guide to setting the default destination for a camera.
• USB_ID Write
Every USB device (the camera in this case) must be globally unique as a USB device. To ensure this, the USB standard
requires that a device-specific ID be assigned to each device.
• Switching from repair mode to product mode
This changes the mode from the repair mode (JIG mode) set when the adjustment software is used to product mode (the
mode that allows a PC to recognize the camera as a PTP or Mass Storage device).
• Repair site ID Write
The repair site ID is written to the camera when the adjustment software is first launched. The settings are shown in the
table below. (No setting tasks are included in the End Setting procedure.)

• The End Setting procedure must always be carried out after adjustment is completed.
If End Setting is omitted, the camera will not be recognized as a PTP or Mass Storage device when it is connected to a PC in
normal operation.
