[Notes on using the adjustment software]
1. Check the adjustment sequence needed when parts are
replaced.
2. When the MAIN PWB ASSY has been replaced, carry
out the "MAIN PWB Initialize [I]" procedure before
starting the adjustment.
3. If you have used the adjustment software, always carry
out End Setting.
4. Refer to the Service Manual for precautions and other
detailed information on adjustment.
Check the details and then press the [Enter] key to proceed.
<Step 6>
[BOOT Mode Setup Screen]
For other adjustments, use the "NP-W126 Battery jig " and
supply power from the regulated power supply so that [7.20V
(+0.02V/-0.00V)] is displayed on the digital voltmeter.
(1) Connect the camera to the PC using the "USB cable".
(2) Supply power to the camera.
(3) Switch camera power ON while pressing the shutter
button and up key

(4) Check that the LED is lit green
After completing steps (1) to (4), press the [Enter] key to
proceed.
<Step 7>
[MAIN PWB Initialize Screen]
(1) Pressing the [X]:Restart key interrupts the adjustment
software and returns you to the [Adjustment Software
Start-up Screen].
However, the camera will not be recognized as a PTP or
Mass Storage device.
(Press the [X] key while the camera is in communication
with the PC. If you press the [X] key while the camera is
disconnected, the [Adjustment Software Start-up Screen]
may be slow to reappear and an error may appear in the
adjustment software.)
X-PRO1 BOOT Mode Setup Screen
Set the BOOT mode by using [DC COUPLER CP-W126 (AC Adapter (9.0V))]
1) Connect the [USB cable].
2) Supply power to the camera.
3) Switch camera power ON while pressing the shutter button and up key.
4) Ensure that the LED is lit.
When steps 1 to 4 are complete, press the [Enter] key on the PC.
Cautions When Using the X-Pro1_W Adjustment Software
1. Adjust as follows after replacing parts.

2. When the MAIN PWB ASSY has been replaced, always
MAIN PWB Initialize before making any other adjustments.
3. Always run End Setting after using this adjustment software.
4. Proceed with adjustment after reading the cautions here,
and the relevant cautions noted in the Service Manual.
Press the [Enter] key to proceed to the Jig Mode Setup screen.
