WARNING
During the maintenance and service operations, it
is compulsory to use protective garments, cut proof
gloves, non-slip and anti-crash shoes.
The shovel is supplied with a separate kit, and only
upon request.
For the assembly, after having lifted the carrier bed
or the dumper, operate in the following way (Fig. 19):
- Bring the bracket (1) and place it under the frame,
with the flat surface leaning on the two cross mem-
bers- (A).
- Put the U bolts (2) on the cross members and fas-
ten with the specific bolts (3) and nuts (4) after
having placed everything in the center.
- hitch the coupling (5) and insert the fork (6) and the
pin (7) with the relative split pin (8).
The coupling oscillates in order to absorb obstacles/
depressions, if any that may damage the shovel.
- Assemble the shovel (1 Fig. 18) matching the holes
(9) and fasten it with the specific bolts; assemble
the tension rod (13) that works as a support for
the shovel during the machine transportation when
this one is without the hydraulic lifting system.
For the machine equipped with hydraulic lifting sys-
tem instead of the tension rod (13), it is possible
to assemble the dumping cylinder on the couplings
(11-12 Fig. 19) using the same pins with which it
was previously assembled.
- then assemble the bar rod (2 Fig. 18) and fix it with
the specific bolt and nut that must not be fastened
tightly so that the above mentioned rod may be
easily lifted when you want to adjust the shovel on
one side.
WARNING
In order to disassemble the shovel, perform the
reverse procedure.
6.9 USE OF THE SHOVEL
For a correct use of the shovel, follow the below in-
structions (references Fig. 18 e 19).
WARNING
- Do not push material weighing more than the
machine capacity.
- During the operation make sure that there are no
objects or projections, which may hamper the ma-
chine.
DANGER
Avoid operating on high slopes because they may
cause the machine overturning.
- Drive the machine where you must operate with
the shovel being lifted.
- Lower the shovel on the ground, releasing the sup-
port tension rod (13) from the locking slot (F) ( for
the machines without the hydraulic system).
On the machine with hydraulic system, in order to
lower the shovel, operate the distributor level (1
Fig. 6) adjusting its height until you graze the
ground.
- Set the shovel feed position to one of the three po-
sitions (straight, rotated rightward or leftward), de-
pending on the operating needs; in order to make
this lift the rod (2), assemble the shovel rightward
or leftward and lower the rod 2 matching the lock-
ing slot (A Fig. 18).
- Drive the machine at a speed suitable for the work
to be performed by paying attention to the possi-
ble skids of the machine when operating with the
shovel assembled sideways.
- Lift the shovel according to your needs when you
must work with the shovel empty; in order to do
this, actuate the distributor lever (1 Fig. 6) if the
machine is equipped with a hydraulic system (pull
it backward until the end of stroke).
For the machine versions without hydraulic sys-
tem, shut the engine off, go to the shovel side and
lift it until the support tension rod (13) is hitched
to the slot (F).
