11.7 Changing the cross stop battery

Required battery:
• 1 x Mignon/AA
1. Switch the machine off and ensure that it cannot be
switched on again.
2. Open the battery chamber lid, turning to the right
(clockwise) with a screwdriver or a coin.
3. Remove the battery chamber lid.
4. Remove and replace the old battery.
5. Screw the battery chamber lid onto the battery cham-
ber.

Attention! Note the correct polarity when inserting the battery.!
The “+” pole of the battery has to be placed against the battery chamber lid.
11.8 Changing the rip fence battery

Required battery:
• 1 x Baby/C
1. Switch the machine off and ensure that it cannot be
switched on again.
2. Fold back the rip fence
3. Loosen the clamping ring.
4. Remove the battery chamber from the fixture.
5. Unscrew the lid from the battery chamber.
6. Remove the old battery and insert a new one.
7. Screw the lid onto the battery chamber.
8. Place the battery chamber into the fixture and fasten
it with a clamping ring.
9. Fold the rip fence back into place.
